Imelda Kehoe
'A Rare Thing'
Imelda Kehoe is an Irish Vocalist and Songwriter known for her distinctive voice, story-telling and blend of contemporary folk mixed with elements of blues, jazz, and soul. Her songs are melody-rich, weaving stories and life experiences written with the listener at heart.
Imelda is from a big Irish/English family, was born in Leeds, United Kingdom, where she trained as a Nurse, working in Intensive Care and Accident and Emergency Departments in Inner City Leeds. She then went on to have 4 children, and co-found a successful business, whilst keeping the dream alive of becoming a Singer.
Imelda released her 4th Album in May 2025. Produced by Gavin Glass.
Beyond her original material, Imelda has a deep appreciation for 1970s classics and has released her own interpretations of timeless songs such as Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton and Walk Away Renée by The Left Banke.
